1. Open the page, block or product you need to order for translation.
2. Clik Order to navigate to the order form.
3. Specify the order details such as:
- Service
- Due date. When you assign a due date to your translation job in extension, the due date for both the entire Order in Localization Hub and the translation project within translation tools, which may consist of multiple jobs, will be determined based on the first due date specified among those jobs.
- Order Type (Personal or Shared). Personal orders are seen only by their owners and users with admin rights. Shared orders may comprise jobs initiated by different users.
- New or specific Order. Select New Order in the dropdown if you require creating a new order. If you need to add the content to an existing Order, find its number in the dropdown.
- Cost Center. Select the cost center in the dropdown. If you don't see the Cost Center, no Cost Center is attached to the Service.
- Name. A specific number will be automatically assigned to the Order. Enter the name if you need a user-friendly title for the Order. The name can be given only to new orders.
- Briefing. Instructions for translators. These instructions will be the same for all jobs in the Order and can be viewed in the Localization's Hub job view and translation tools.
- Immediate order launch. If enabled, the content will be transferred to the CAT tool at once and the Order will be moved to the next workflow step ("In Progress"). If disabled, the content will be stored in Localization Hub until manually or by Hub's automation is pushed to the CAT tool.
4. Decide whether you need to order just the page you selected without related child blocks or the page you selected together with child blocks.
You can choose which child blocks to order together with the page. It's not obligatory to select all of them. The ID of each child block is in brackets.
5. Choose the target languages. In the table, you can see the list of the target languages and the Status of translation for a specific target language.
Use the Status filter to find the target languages of a specific status.
6. At the final step, review all the details of the order and click Confirm.
7. To see the detailed view of each order for a specific content item, click Jobs.
You will see all translation jobs with detailed information, such as:
- Job and Order numbers
- Content ID, Name and Type
- Source and Target language
- Version of the content
- Service
- User
- Status
- Due date
- Updated date
The blue-colored properties contain active links which you can follow for more details. Job and Order numbers navigate to the Localization Hub. Source and Target languages lead to other pages in Optimizely.
If you see the badge "Outdated", this means that the source page was updated with the new content and the translation might be outdated.
