Domains are different websites that relate to one content management system and have the same data source. In most cases, you'll need this functionality when using Optimizely connector because Optimizely CMS offers the functionality for several domain creations.
Important: If you use the Optimizely extension, you won't need to create domains manually. Instead, sync data between the Optimizely extension and Localization Hub.
Setting up a new domain in the Localization Hub
1. In Workspace, open Settings and navigate to the Domains tab.
2. Click New Domain.
3. Provide the URL of the website.
The URL enables navigation to the specified domain from the project.
4. Enter the Title.
Title is a user-friendly name for the domain that is reflected in New project form and project details.
5. Provide the Description for the domain (optional).
The description is reflected in the New project form below the domain selection dropdown and as the tooltips for the domain title.
6. Enable the Active toggle if you are ready to activate the domain. Domains can be connected to the Service only when enabled.
7. Click Save.
8. Once a new domain is created, you can see it in the Domains tab.
9. Connect domains to required Services. Otherwise, you won't see them in New project form. Read the article on How to set up a new service.
