Workflows steps in the "Administration" section are basic steps of the portal that you can use for creating project workflows.
So, the list of steps you create in "Workflow Steps" (Administration) will be shown in the edit mode of a project workflow in the project settings:
Types of steps
There are four predefined types of steps — "New", "In Progress", "Completed" and "Cancelled". You can not affect the core behavior of the types described below.
NEW
While the order is at the step of this type, you can add new content to the order, count words, and remove content items from this order.
IN PROGRESS
When the order is moved to a step of this type, you can not add new content here anymore. But you can send content for translation and deliver the translated content to the CMS. You can also remove content items from the order if they are not sent to the translation tool.
COMPLETED
At this step, it is supposed that all operations with content are done. However, if the service settings allow, you can still deliver completed content to a CMS.
CANCELLED
This type doesn't imply a certain behavior. You should use this type when you want to mark a "Cancelled" order.
Steps
You can create several workflow steps of the same type. We offer seven default workflow steps, but you are not obliged to use them all or some of them. You can edit our default workflow steps or create new ones.
Default steps
"New" and "Under Review" — type "New"
"Order Sent", "Order Received" and "In Progress" — type "In Progress"
"Completed" — "Completed" type
"Cancelled" — "Cancelled" type.
If the workflow step is deactivated, you will not be able to add it to the project workflow.
