CMA token is used to authenticate requests to Contentful's Content Management API, enabling the export and import of the content. In Localization Hub, the token is securely stored and encrypted.
When you set up iLangL's custom app in Contentful, you need to create a CMA token or use the existing one.
You may need to change the token after the connector is installed for the following reasons:
- Due to security reasons (if you think the previous one is corrupted)
- Due to the token's expiration
Important: If your token has an expiration date, ensure you update it promptly to maintain a seamless connection with the Localization Hub and avoid interruptions in the localization process.
1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Click Change CMA token
3. Paste the new token and click Sync with Localization Hub.
Important: clicking Sync with Localization Hub updates not only the CMA token but also the languages and content types.
If you don't have a token yet, follow these steps to create a new one:
a) Navigate through the link and click Create personal access token.
b) Specify the name of the token and choose the expiration date.
c) Click Generate.
d) Copy the token immediately. You won't be able to access it later.
