To see your profile information, click on your avatar in the top right corner and go to the My Account page.
In your profile, you can change your personal data and change or reset your password.
Where is my profile data taken from?
The data in your profile is taken either from fields you fill out during the registration or from the content management system if your profile was created automatically when using our CMS plugins.
During registration, you just need to specify your email. Afterward, you can go to your profile and add the missing information.
Note: You can use your account without adding profile information, but we highly recommend doing this if you are collaborating with other users on the portal.
If you are authenticated from a content management system, in your profile you will see the data that a content management system provided through API. This can be just an ID or also your first and last name, email etc.
Who can see my profile information?
Only users with global permissions that allow managing user access can see your profile information by going to the Users tab on the Access page in the Administration section.
How do other users see me on the portal?
Others will be able to see your Nickname. If you haven't set a nickname and your first and last names, your User name will be used to identify you to other users.
Profile information
User name
The User name is the name the system uses to identify you. It can not be changed. In most cases, your email is your user name.
However, if your account was created automatically (for example, when you are authenticated from a content management system or single sign-on) the user name will be created according to the data our system extracted from the content management system.
This can be whether email or other ID that the content management system, uses to identify you.
First name
First name is a required field.
Last name
Last name is not a required field.
Nickname
Your Nickname is automatically generated from your First and Last name unless you change it to something different. All operations on the portal are tracked. So other users will know what operations you performed by seeing your nickname. Your nickname must be unique.
Company
This is an obligatory field.
Email is a required field. You can change your email, but your User name can not be changed. If you registered using an old email, the new email will be used for resetting your password and sending notifications, while your old email will be still used as an identifier for a system.
Profile picture
To change your profile picture, just click on the Browse button and upload the file from your computer.
