How to set up the Contentstack extension

iLangL Localization Hub portal has an extension for Contentstack that can be used to create and track translation projects from Contentstack. Find out how to add and configure the extension in Contentstack.

How to install the Contentstack extension

1. Make sure that you have Owner or Admin permissions in the Contentstack stack.

2. Navigate to Settings and open the Extensions page.

3. Click New Extension and select Create New from the dropdown.

4. Select the Sidebar Extension type.

5.  Specify the title of the extension. 

6. Select the External hosting option.

7. In the External Hosting URL field, enter the link from the App URL provided in the Contentstack extension instructions you received via email.

If you have not received the instructions via email, insert the following link in the URL field:

Localization Hub URL/contentstack/home 

Note: Replace the colored text with the URL of your Localization Hub portal, which you can find on your portal page.

8. In the Scope, you can choose for which content types this extension will be available. 

Press Save.

Now, the extension is available from the Content Editor

How to connect Contentstack extension to workspace in Localization Hub

1. Open the Localization Hub extension that you created by following the guidance on How to install the Contentstack extension.

2. Enter the email and password of your Contentstack account to link it to the Contentstack connector. 

3. If you already have the Workspace for managing translation from Contentstack in Localization Hub, enter the Workspace ID. 

Copy the Workspace ID from the Instructions for Contentstack Extension Installation you received via email.

Also, you can find the Workspace ID in the Workspace settings in Localization Hub. 

If you don't have the Workspace, you can create a new one. 

4. Click Connect.

5. You'll be redirected to settings and see the Connected status when the connection is established.
