Overview
1. Delivery from the "Jobs" tab
3. How to find out which workflow steps are linked to a translation tool
The translated content can be delivered whether manually or automatically to the website. In this article, you can read about the manual ways of content delivery. If you are interested in automation, read this article.
There are two ways of delivering the translated content:
1) From the Jobs tab by clicking the Get Translations button
2) On the transition page when advancing the project to the next workflow step (Transition page delivery).
Delivery from the "Jobs" tab
If you don't need to advance the project status but want to deliver the content, you can do so from the Jobs tab. This allows you to deliver specific jobs instead of all at once.
1. Choose jobs you'd like to deliver to the website and click Get Translations.
2. If you don’t see the Get Translations button, it means the selected job is not yet completed and cannot be delivered.
Or, the job statuses in Localization Hub are not synced with the translation tool.
Please ensure you click the Synchronize button.
3. Review the jobs and click Confirm to deliver content.
4. Check if the statuses of jobs changed to Delivered in the Jobs tab while the project status stays the same ("In Progress" on the screenshot below).
Transition page delivery
When you move a project to a specific workflow step (usually the "Completed" status), a transition page will appear, prompting you to deliver the translated content.
If you'd like to deliver the jobs that are marked as completed, switch the Deliver completed content toggle on.
4. Check if the statuses of jobs changed to Delivered in the Jobs tab and the project status is changed to Completed.
Note: The workflow step you’re moving the project to must be linked to the translation tool. In most cases, this step is called Completed, but it may vary depending on the settings. If you're unsure which workflow step is linked to the translation tool, please refer to this section before returning to this one.
How to find out which workflow steps are linked to a translation tool
To determine which workflow step is linked to the translation tool, you first need to identify the Service associated with the project. Open the Details tab and click on the service name to access its settings.
As shown in the screenshot above, the Phrase translation tool is linked to the In Progress and Completed steps. This means that transfers between the Localization Hub and the translation tool can only occur at these steps.
Once you identify the linked step, move the project to the corresponding step.
