Trial Mode Overview
When you create a new workspace in Localization Hub, it automatically enters a 30-day trial mode. During this period, translated words are not counted toward the total portal word count, making the trial completely free of charge.
We recommend using the trial mode to test the tool’s functionality. Once you're ready to begin real translations, it's best to switch to non-trial mode.
What Happens After the Trial Expires?
After the trial expires, all actions—including translation deliveries—will be disabled for translation projects created during the trial. To continue working, you must first upgrade the workspace. Only after upgrading the workspace can you upgrade specific translation projects from trial mode if needed.
- Upgrading the workspace allows you to create new translation projects, with all words in these projects counting toward the total word count.
- Upgrading specific translation projects is required if you need to continue working on projects created during the trial.
How to Upgrade Your Workspace
Once your trial expires, a red banner will appear, notifying you of the expiration. Click the Upgrade Now button to upgrade and continue using the workspace.
How to Upgrade a Translation Project from Trial Mode
- Upgrade the workspace.
- Open the translation project you need to upgrade from trial.
- Click the Upgrade Now button to upgrade the project.
Subscription Requirements for Upgrading
To upgrade the workspace, users must have an active subscription.
To upgrade a translation project:
-
- If translations were delivered during the trial, the subscription must include enough available target words to cover those translations.
- If the project is still in progress and no translations were delivered, only an active subscription is required.
Can't See the "Upgrade Now" Button?
Only users with global access to manage subscriptions can upgrade the workspace. Once upgraded, all translated words in that workspace will be counted toward the total portal word count and become billable.
